The space has become a true reflection of the clients’ style and personalities. The apartment’s interior is contemporary, embodying all the defining characteristics of the style: concealed doors, smooth seamless surfaces, materials flowing from vertical to horizontal planes, storage systems that dissolve into the walls, and shadow-gap profiles running along walls and ceilings.

Despite the abundance of dark tones and the use of materials that are naturally perceived as cool—such as concrete and metal—the interior does not feel distant or impersonal. On the contrary, stepping into the apartment evokes a sense of familiarity and emotional connection. The space feels warm, inviting, and deeply personal.

This effect was achieved through the use of tactile, textured plaster on walls and ceilings, wood with a lively, expressive grain, cozy upholstered furniture, and soft, subtle lighting that enhances the atmosphere without drawing attention to itself.

The central visual and spatial focal point of the composition is the living room wall, clad in metallic panels by DeCastelli. Beyond its striking aesthetic, this element serves a practical purpose: behind its façade lies a spacious storage system and a hidden door leading to the children’s room. This area has become the heart of the apartment’s daily life—where the family gathers and guests relax—so it was essential to make it not only visually captivating but also warm and comfortable.

The kitchen follows a classic layout, with an extended work zone running along one wall. The lower cabinet façades, countertop, and backsplash are executed in a single material to visually unify the volumes. The composition is completed by tall black cabinetry in a deep, rich shade, housing all necessary appliances. This creates a sense of enclosure and completeness. As a subtle yet vibrant accent, chairs with warm russet upholstery are placed around the dining table.

A distinct private zone within the apartment is the master block, comprising a walk-in closet, master bathroom, and bedroom. These spaces are defined by clean geometric lines and a restrained color palette, conveying a sense of serenity and seclusion. The careful selection of materials and textures enhances the feeling of calm, privacy, and refined elegance throughout this intimate retreat.
